I was shopping this past weekend and stopped in Express. Of course, I know!! :) I had a couple coupons so I bought two pairs of their cotton shorts that were on display on one of the many tables. They are fabulous! These are the perfect length! I fell in love the minute I tried on. They are not long but they are not short. I guess you can say they land in the middle of a Bermuda short and Daisy Duke.
I got a pair of black and brown ones. They can easily be dressed up and dressed down which is perfect for me. I used to never wear shorts because everywhere I went they were always way to short and that just makes me uncomfortable. But, I can tell you now I will be rocking the shorts more often now that I have discovered new lengths. Longer shorts are in now, I see them everywhere!

Much More Than a "V"
Chevron print is basically the letter "V" being used over and over and over again to create the look of the never ending Chevron print. There is Chevron print dresses, skirts, scarves, pillows, curtains, you name it. The great thing about it is it can look great on anyone or great in your living room :)
So pick your favorite item of clothing whether it's a top or skirt and pick it in a Chevron print! The Chevron outfit I created is based around a print dress and I added a blue belt to break up the pattern a bit and bring it in at the waste. I also paired it with summer white sandals that just go with the season!

Guys Like to Swim Too!
Since it is that time of the season and my husband is looking for new swim shorts, I thought why not post about them. When searching through so many swim shorts I figured out I really like the solid colored ones this year. I picked a teal colored, longer short and a green colored, shorter short for my outfit. These can both be found under "Guys, Dive In".
I decided to pair both with a tank because I see these are coming back. And just a little warning, it seems shorter swim trunks are in now considering the longer style are harder to find. I gotta say though, I like them! So Guys, Just Go For It!!
I through in a pair of manly sunglasses, a waterproof watch and some reef flip flops. The sandals are awesome! My husband owns a pair and they have a bottle opener on the sole of the shoe. Perfect for the beach, I know!

We Are Going Wide!
Welcome to my new thing! I love these wide leg pants. I tune into HSN the other day and Giuliana Rancic is promoting her "G" line of clothing. One of the items she was selling are these wide leg pants and they look awesome and so flattering.
I wasn't able to find any of hers on the Polyvore website but I found these cute ones at ASOS. These come in so many widths and colors so it makes pairing tops with them easy. I put together my wide leg pants with a white peplum top as well as a red blouse because I love both. Throw in some accessories and you are ready for the day or a night on the town!

Feathered Friends
I cannot say enough how much I love bird print clothing! Even bird designed jewelry, I just love them! When I look at an item of clothing with a bird print pattern it just looks so simple and classy to me. I feel like you can wear a dress like these anywhere. For example, you would look fabulous at work, to run errands, out for dinner, the list goes on!
